Description:

Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate are substances found naturally in the body.

Glucosamine is a form of amino sugar that is believed to play a role in cartilage formation and repair. It is involved in the manufacture of glycosaminoglycan, which forms cartilage tissue in the body. Glucosamine is also present in tendons and ligaments glucosamine must be synthesized by the body but the ability to do this declines with age.

The rate at which our bodies uses glucosamine though increases during athletic activity, injuries, burns, arthritis and other inflammatory disorders, age associated chronic degeneration, and when bones are broken. oral glucosamine was absorbed and lead to the stimulation of healthy new cartilage and other protective molecules.

Chondroitin sulfate is an acid mucopolysaccharide that is consistuent of most cartilaginous tissues and gives cartilage elasticity.

Chondroitin has the ability to protect existing cartilage from prematurely breaking down by inhibiting enzymes that normally destroy cartilage. So chondroitin encourages cartilage formation while protecting existing cartilage.

Vitamin c is essential for the synthesis of collagen and intracellular material.

Manganese is involved in bone formation, formation of connective tissue and It does as part of several enzymes.

the use of vitamins and minerals specifically ascorbate (Vitamin C) and manganese and several others aid in the absorption and/or utilization of Glucosamine.

Actions:

it is used for its supposed chondroprotective action in bone,

Joint and connective tissue disorders, in rheumatic disorders including osteoarthritis.
